CouchWarriors runs both monthly events and a yearly “annual” called BAM - Battle Arena Melbourne.

BAM is in its third year and attracts players from all over the country, and acts as the finals for our community. This year the event on is on October 1st and 2nd, at CQ Hotel on Queen St Melbourne.

We expect over 300 attendees and approx 10,000 viewers on a live video stream. Potentially we will reach similar numbers to the most recent event we helped to run, called "Shadowloo Showdown" which was attended by 500+ people and its live video stream achieved over 13,000 views.

We’re also looking at generating printed advertising material, bonuses for attendees and expect to generate solid media coverage, including partnership with Manabar for the event, including a preview night and promotions. The local and international fighting game community media, which in July saw the Evolution world finals reach 2 million streaming viewers, will also be promoting and supporting the event.

We are in talks with the publishers of the titles we feature at the event not just for prizes but to showcase upcoming games.

BAM is an opportunity for a sponsor to reach a strong core gamer audience as well as an ever growing online gaming and general entertainment audience that take an interest in events like these from a sporting style, spectator's perspective.

As a sponsor or partner with BAM, we can offer value such as:
Space to show product either as a display or as part of prize and raffle packages

Further options can also be explored with the team. We have time built in to the schedule for promotion and exhibition (Live and on stream) for the right opportunities, such as showcasing unreleased games.
