2010 Gaming Season - Round 5 - July 3rd

When: Saturday 3rd of July, 1pm-10pm
Notes: Bringing your own controllers is highly recommended, if not basically neccessary.
Bringing additional TVs, monitors, consoles and games is really appreciated, please remember to LABEL your gear to avoid confusion.

Important Notes
SSFIV is shifting to the best of 3 rounds, best of 3 games format!
Since the turnout is a little lower at the moment, we have time to run a little longer, and since this format is the fairest and most interesting, we'll be switching for this month at least, and make timetable adjustments in the future if it becomes neccessary.
Rules will be fairly standard, loser may change character, but straying from the EVO ruleset, both players may change ultra at any time.

We may be a little quieter than usual this month as with clashes with a couple of other events, the Smash contingent is likely to run their portion on the previous weekend. I'm unsure at this stage though whether there will be any Smash left over.

since this is the same weekend of http://www.respawn.com.au/ and a nintendo connection tour, the smash tournaments are running this saturday at the same venue

It's alright dude, as mentioned Smash will be running something this Saturday to make up for it. I'm sure the details are on the Smashboards, and if someone links me the thread I can list the details on here.
Unfortunately bookings with the Convent are hard to change around at short notice and if you add several organisers schedules who work shifts full-time into the mix, it's not so easy to just make way for every event that happens to be on the same weekend.
