I recently went to Japan and bought an arcana heart 3 kit.

But there's only so much fun you can have playing against the CPU so I just want to gauge whether anyone's interested in playing this game.

If so I guess I'll bring it to the next CW event.

How do you propose to set this up?

It has VGA/s-video/composite video out and RCA audio out so it should connect to any TV/monitor/speakers. I can also bring my own monitor/speakers if necessary (but it's a bit much to carry).

It also has USB ports for controllers and runs on windows xp embedded, so should accept any windows compatible usb controller (I personally use a PS3 TE stick).

Might be a bit of a laugh I suppose.  I'm not sure how many people are really into Arcana though.  The typical crowd that would will be playing BB:CS with the new console release I imagine.

I'm up for lots of Arcana Heart 3 Smiley I'll play it all during CW if it's there...

My monitor normally gets used, but I do have a small CRT TV around. It's really small but at least we have a backup option .

Cool, it's good to see someone as hyped for this game as I am  Grin

Since this will be my first CW event, can anyone tell me whether there's enough space/power points to have it set up all day. Also, it'd be great if someone could provide a decent TV/monitor to play it on.

We've actually had a surpluss of monitors lately, the only real concern is space.  If you arrive early enough (before 2) I can make sure you get a proper setup wiith a monitor and some speakers.  I believe I have a RCA to 3.5 converter as well somewhere... although my cables have been going missing as late.

Sounds good, I'll definitely arrive early.

And don't worry about the converter, I've got one I can bring.

Arc System Works porting AH3 to 360 and ps3. This is the best possible scenario in my mind. Get HYPE!!!

Just don't expect it get a tourney though as this game only does well in Japan.  BB:CS guys will have a shot when they are waiting for a turn at BB.  Got understand it is not a very visual appealling game and will get frowned upon very quick.

But personal I liked it as it was pretty unique just try get a hype for it with your friends and go to anime sites to get them hook onto the game.  But if it is an event and I make it I play it.  Just don't give up.

Thanks Zan for the setup, and thanks to everyone who gave the game a go.

I checked my uni timetable and it turns out BAM is on the final weekend of my mid semester break, so I'm more than happy to bring it along for some casuals if there's space/interest. Just let me know what times during the event would be best to have it set up.

I'm just a bit worried about security, e.g. what's to stop someone walking off with the sticks and/or board?

I wanted to play more except I had to organise the BB Tournament Sad

If you don't mind, I'd even visit your home or where ever to come and play some AH3 on the weekends or something for a few hours.

Well, PM me your details and maybe we can sort out some time where we can play Smiley

Yeah, sorry I had to leave early, but uni's been real busy and once BB got going and interest in AH3 waned I figured I should go home and get some work done  Sad
