Yeah i do see your point but i like the Kenshin's character in the dub. But i do admit that Kenshin in the sub is cooler in the fighting part.

Samurai X is brilliant I thought.  I even watched it initially with the dub, and it was ok in a weird kind of 'characters telling a story in a detached biblical way' sorta thing.  The score was awesome and suitably epic so it kinda got away with it in my books.  I watched with subs later though and realised I wouldn't go back.

I watched the other OVA where Kenshin dies too.  It was all right though I wasn't familiar with the characters so it didn't really make much sense to me.

As for the anime series well.  I watched a couple of episodes on the sci fi channel (I think) on cable.  The dub was terrible, and it was an episode with all these good guys yapping about honour and goodness and then getting raped by this guy in bandages.  It was fucking like your average Dragonball Z morning cartoon stuff. :s

Yeah the Samurai X dub is horrible but the Rurouni Kenshin dub isn't too bad for example they actually use there real names not like in Samurai X where Kenshin is Kenshi Sanosuke is Sanosuki and Yahiko is Yoshi

I really liked the Samurai X OVAs. I haven't watched it subbed, but I actually thought the dub was really good >_> Good voice acting, good script translation.
I think my favorite dub though is Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate. I have a man-crush on Crispin Freeman for his voice~ In fact, Crispin Freeman and David Hayter are probably the only voice actors I know by name. Only takes a couple of episodes for Victoria's voice to stop being annoying and actually get kinda cute.

At the moment I'm watching Beck, Hellsing Ultimate and Death Note. I'm a chump who buys DVDs though, so I take a while to watch the whole series =P

I would have to pick Cowboy Bebop/Samurai Champloo/Hellsing Ultimate as my favourite series' ever. Even if Champloo's ending was horrible.

I've watched quite a bit of Anime myself, and I might provide a list. I usually download and watch anime and almost never stream as I love to have a copy for myself so anything I list, i probably have on my HDD.

At the moment all i'm watching is Naruto Shippuuden, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan (Again!, I definitely recommend this to everyone!), Orphanand ya, that's about it for now.

If ya'll want, I can give a list of Anime I have on my HDD and bring them to CW events if anyone wants any of it.

But yeah, I used to watch some anime here and there, but I went off it.  I recently watched Gurren which was alright.  I didn't enjoy it as much after the time skip.

Ya Gurren really stood out to me, quite enjoyable. It had the wow factor lol. And by wow factor, I mean every episode tried to top the one before it and pretty much succeeded.
