General Tournament Rules and Information
Take a moment to familiarise yourself with the standard rules governing all our tournaments. See below for the specific game settings.
Report to your pools 15 minutes before it is supposed to start.
Disqualifications are 10 minutes after your match is called.
Tournaments with 7 players or less will pay out 100% to the winner.
- 1st Place – 100%
Tournaments with 15 players or less will pay out to the top 2 finishers.
- 1st Place – 70%
- 2nd Place – 30%
Tournaments with 16 to 47 players will pay out to the top 3 finishers.
- 1st Place – 60%
- 2nd Place – 30%
- 3rd Place – 10%
Tournaments with 48 – 95 players or more will pay out to the top 4 finishers.
- 1st Place – 50%
- 2nd Place – 25%
- 3rd Place – 15%
- 4th Place – 10%
Tournaments with 96 – 127 players or more will pay out to the top 6 finishers.

Tournaments with 128 – 255 players or more will pay out to the top 8 finishers.

Tekken 7
Format: 3/5 rounds, 2/3 games (LF, WF, GF 3/5 games), Double Elimination, 60 seconds
System: PS4
Rules:All characters allowed. Random Stage Select every game. Players who lose the first game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose. Blind pick is available for all matches. In the case that players cannot mutually agree on which sides to sit, a best of 1 Rock Paper Scissors game will be played with the winner choosing their preferred side. Players are committed to side selection for the entirety of the Match. BAM 10 is a Tekken World Tour event and TWT rules also apply.
Entry Fee: $10
Prizes: Full prize pool to be announced in the lead up to the event. The prize pool will include of a share of the cash entry fees for each tournament entrant, as well as a $5,000 USD pot bonus courtesy of Bandai Namco. Finalists will also gain Tekken World Tour points as described in the Tekken World Tour Ruleset.
Controllers: PS4 sticks and pads. Sticks will be provided.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii-U
Format: 7 Minutes, 2 Stocks (Singles), 3 Stocks (Doubles), Items/Customs Off, Friendly Fire On (Doubles)
Console: Wii-U
Legal Stages: Final Destination, Smashville, Town and City, Lylat Cruise, Battlefield. At the start of a match paper scissors rock is played and the winner decides to counter pick first or have port priority.
Rules: If a player wishes to pick a character without the opponent being able to counterpick, they can choose to enact a double blind, where both players will inform a TO of their pick and then the TO will announce both of the characters. Mii Fighters are legal, and can use any combination of custom moves. Mii Fighters must be default Mii’s
Controllers: Wireless controllers are allowed, however if your controller interferes with the tournament in any way, you will be instantly disqualified. Wiimote owners are advised to take out your batteries after a match, and Pro controller users must take the battery out, and use a usb connector.

Super Smash Bros. Melee
Format: 2/3 Matches (top 32 is 3/5), 8 Minutes, 4 Stocks, Items Off, Friendly Fire On (Doubles)
Console: GameCube
Legal Stages: Singles: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Battlefield, Final Destination, Dream Land, Pokemon Stadium (Counterpick Only).
Doubles: Yoshi’s Story, Pokemon Stadium, Battlefield, Final Destination, Dream Land.
At the start of a match stage striking will be employed at the judge’s discretion. You may not choose the last stage you won on in a counterpick situation, unless both of the players agree to it.
Rules: If a player wishes to pick a character without the opponent being able to counterpick, they can choose to enact a double blind, where both players will inform a TO of their pick and then the TO will announce both of the characters. Wobbling is legal, but wobbling past 250% is to be considered stalling and is not allowed. Additional rules apply, please consult with available tournament judges.

Street Fighter V
Format: 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games (Top 8 – 3/5 games), Double Elimination, 99 Seconds, Random Stage Select.
Console: PS4
Rules: All characters allowed in a three (3) game set. Players who lose a game may change their character, side and VT and the winning player is character locked until they lose, but can choose VT so long as they do it before the loser picks their VT. Blind pick is available for all matches, contact a judge or bracket runner at the character select screen to adjudicate for you. The Kanzuki Beach, The Grid, Flamenco Tavern and Skies of Honor stages are banned from Tournament play. The R. Mika Professional Costume (Pom-Poms) is banned from Tournament play. In the case of both players wanting p1 or p2 side, Rock, Paper, Scissors will be used to determine the outcome.

BAM10 is a Capcom Pro Tour Ranking Event; finalists will receive CPT Global Ranking points towards qualification to the Capcom Cup Finals and qualifying finalists will receive CPT Asia Regional Ranking Points the towards the Capcom Pro Tour Asia Regional Finals. Dragon Ball FighterZ
Format: 2/3 Games, Double Elimination, default time
Console: PlayStation 4
Rules: All characters allowed in a three (3) game set. Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose, but can choose order. Infinites are allowed, but any bug which prevents the game from being played is banned. Blind pick is available for all matches, contact a judge or bracket runner at the character select screen to adjudicate for you. Broly’s and Bardoc’s theme as well as random music are banned on stream for technical reasons.
Controllers: Brooks converters allowed, but Cronus converters are banned. If you use a PS4 Dualshock or wireless controller of any kind, be sure to disconnect or desync it after every match, failure to do so will be grounds for DQ if another match is interrupted.

Injustice 2
Format: 2/3 Rounds, 3/5 Games, Double Elimination, 99 Seconds, Random Stage
Console: PlayStation 4
Rules: All characters allowed in a three (3) game set. Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked and variation locked until they lose, competitive mode is enabled through tournament mode to auto enable this. Blind pick is available for all matches, contact a judge or bracket runner at the character select screen to adjudicate for you. Stage selection must be random. No stages are banned. Players can agree to re-random a stage if they both do not like the stage, e.g red sun due to everything being bright red
Controllers: Brooks converters allowed, but Cronus converters are banned. If you use a PS4 Dualshock or wireless controller of any kind, be sure to disconnect or desync it after every match, failure to do so will be grounds for DQ if another match is interrupted.

Ultra Street Fighter IV
Format: 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games (LF, WF, GF – 3/5 games), Double Elimination, 99 Seconds, No Handicap, No Edition Select.
Console: PS4
Rules: All characters allowed in a three (3) game set. Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose, however the winning player may change Ultra. Blind pick is available for all matches, contact a judge or bracket runner at the character select screen to adjudicate for you.

Street Fighter 3 : 3s
Format: 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games (LF, WF, GF – 3/5 games), Double Elimination, 99 Seconds, No Handicap, No Edition Select.
Console: PS3 and possibly supergun
Rules: Gill is not allowed in tournament play. The in-game judgement feature will be used to decide the outcome of draw games. Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose, however the winning player may change Super. Blind pick is available for all matches, contact a judge or bracket runner at the character select screen to adjudicate for you.

Marvel vs Capcom : Infinite
Format: 3/5 Games, 99 Second Timer, Default Damage, Double Elimination
Console:PS4
Rules: All characters allowed In a multiple game set, the losing player may change their characters, infinity stone and side. The winning player is locked to their characters, infinity stone and team order until they lose. You may not use any glitch that prevents the game from being played. This includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, dead body infinites, etc.

Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator
Format: 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games (LF, WF, GF – 3/5 games), Double Elimination, 99 Seconds
Console: PS4
Rules: Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose. Blind pick is available for all matches.
Controllers: PS4 and PS3 sticks and official Sony pads allowed.

Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round
Format: 3/5 Rounds, 2/3 Games (3/5 all finals), Double Elimination, 60 Seconds, Normal Health, Random Stage
Console: PS4
Rules: All characters allowed in a three (3) game set. Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose. Blind pick is available for all matches, contact a judge or bracket runner at the character select screen to adjudicate for you.

Rivals of Aether
Format: 2/3 Matches (top ?? is 3/5)
Console: PC
Legal Stages: Starters: Fire capital, Air Armada, Rock wall, Mercant port, Blazing hideout, Frozen fortress, Tower of heaven. Counter picks: Treetop lodge, Tempest peak, Aethereal Gates, The endless abyss.
Rules: 3-2-1 Ban order is done for the start of a set.
In a best of 3 set, the winner of the previous game can ban 4 stages and then the loser of the previous game picks a stage from the remaining stage pool.
In a best of five, the winner of the previous game can ban 2 stages and then the loser of the previous game picks a stage from the remaining stage pool.
Dave stupid rule is in effect (You cannot pick a stage you’ve won on previously in the same set)

Controllers:Xbox one and gamecube controllers are both legal. So is any controller that is plug and play in windows 7+.
Any other controllers require TOs approval prior to the event, and must be able to be set up in under 3 minutes’ time. Any major PC issues that occur because of drivers/software installed for a controller may result in a DQ.

Format: 2/3 Matches (top 6 is 3/5 assuming time), 8 Minutes, 4 Stocks, Team Attack on
Console: Wii
Legal Stages: Starters: Green Hill Zone (Singles), Smashville, Battlefield, Pokemon Stadium 2, Dreamland, Distant Planet (Doubles)
Counterpicks: WarioLand (Singles), Dountain of Dreams, Final Destination, sky Sanctuary Zone, Delfino’s Secret, Crateria (Doubles)

Format: 2/3 Matches (top 8 is 3/5), 8 Minutes, 4 Stocks, Items Off, No handicap, Famage 100%
Console: Nintendo 64
Legal Stage: Dreamland is the only legal stage
Rules: If a player wishes to pick a character without the opponent being able to counterpick, they can choose to enact a double blind, where both players will inform a TO of their pick and then the TO will announce both of the characters. After the first game the winner of the previous game must pick their character before the loser. The players will do a best of 1 Rock Paper Scissors to decide player ports for first match if it cannot be decided.If a game goes to Sudden Death, the winner is determined by stocks and percentage at the time the match ends. Controllers: Players may use alternative controllers (e.g Hori brand, Keyboard, Xbox, Gamecube) so long as they provide their own adapter. Maximum 1:1 mapping of original buttons on first party controller allowed (Hori) (1 A button, 2 Z’s, 1 R, etc. No extra buttons that aren’t on the controller are allowed). Macros are strictly prohibited.

Rules: Unlimited Characters banned. All other normal characters allowed. Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose. Blind pick is available for all matches.

Format: 2v2 pokemon style, 2/3 Rounds, 1 Game, Speed setting JP Turbo 3
Console: Supergun with Japanese Arcade Board
Rules: Akuma is banned. O. Gief is banned. Players are responsible for inputting their own character select codes. Character lock from initial pick throughout the tournament. Teams cannot have repeating characters, but old versions of characters count as different. O. Ryu/O Ryu is not acceptable but O. Ryu/N. Ryu is legal.

Street Fighter Alpha 2
Format: 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games , Double Elimination
Console: Supergun with Japanese Arcade Board
Rules: Life: Default, Time: Default
Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose. Blind pick is available for all matches.

Under Night In Birth Exe : Late [st]
Format: 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games, Double Elimination
Console: PS4
Rules: Life: Default, Time: Default
Players who lose a game may change their character, and the winning player is character locked until they lose. Blind pick is available for all matches.

Gundam Versus
Format: 2/3 Games, Double Elimination, 240 seconds
Console: PS4
Rules:
Tournament will be 2 vs 2 fixed teams. You will be paired for the entire tournament. If you do not have a team, still register online solo, and staff will be on-site to help pair you with a partner.
Double elimination format, Bo3 up till winner’s semi finals and loser semi finals where the rest will be Bo5
All suits and strikers are allowed. Most standard strikers will be unlocked for use, however if you have a striker/DLC suit preference please let the TO know beforehand so that it can be made available to you
Games will all be played on Colony City, Timer set to 240 seconds
After any game in the set, the loser may switch suits, gears and strikers, the winner is locked onto suit, gear and striker

Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown
Format: 3/5 Rounds, 3/5 Games, Double Elimination, 45 Seconds, No Handicap

Rules: Life: Default, Time: Default, Dural is banned
Custom Characters will be allowed (bring them on a USB stick)
