Australian esports fans will be spoiled by the presence of three of the greatest of all time players when BAM, our biggest fighting game event returns May 18-20.

INJUSTICE 2 Major PAXAUS Tournament: $20K Prize pool. CouchWarriors supporting

CouchWarriors is proudly supporting a major Injustice 2 tournament to be hosted at PAX Australia with a prize pool of AUD$20,000!

Qualifiers will be held on Friday 27th. The final eight will compete on Sunday 29th for glory and their share of the massive prize pool:

1st prize: $7,500

2nd place: $5,000

3rd & 4th place: $3,500

Cost: Entry to the tournament is free. Entry to the Friday session at PAX Australia required, valued at $65 – Sunday passes will be provided for anyone in the final 8 that doesn’t already have one. Tickets are available here.

BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER There is a BYOC / Sticks policy for the event. We have some available for emergency and our friendly players will often loan a controller, but we ask you to please bring your own!

Throwdown Esports $16K Street Fighter V tournament at PAX Aus: CouchWarriors Supporting

CouchWarriors is proudly supporting a major Street Fighter V tournament to be hosted at PAX Australia with Throwdown Esports
The event will feature a $16,000 prize pool including a custom built Arcade Cabinet, and for the winner, a trip to Red Bull Kumite in Paris!
We will be hosting qualifying events in Melbourne, Sydney, and online, and assisting with the main event.

This weekend sees the return of OzcomicCon to Melbourne!  

Among the fun of guests, panels, cosplay and stalls you will find CouchWarriors hosting fighting game casuals and tournaments in the OCC Gaming area.  So come join us to enjoy some gaming at the convention.

We’ll be hosting Learn to Play along with casual matches and tournaments.

BAM9: The largest event Super Smash Bros event in the southern hemisphere

Across two massive stages, CouchWarriors will proudly feature tournaments across both Super Smash Brothers Melee and Smash 4.

The amazing growth in the Smash community sees its epicentre at BAM. The top Australian players will face off, where you will see the best of the best facing off in the biggest tournament this side of the equator.

Smash 4 will feature International guests, the first challenger is SoCal USA’s Nakat, with more to be announced.

As hosts of Australia’s largest fighting game event, and one of the biggest community gaming events in the country, CouchWarriors is proud to make this first announcement.

Each of the last few years has been a record breaker, with over 800 players and spectators enjoying BAM8 last year, we have much more in store in 2017.

Venue: Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
