Battle Arena Melbourne 8 Afterparty!

Hi guys,

We’re happy to announce that the official BAM8 afterparty will happen on Sunday night May 15 at 10PM-3AM at the Crafty Squire nearby on 127 Russell Street.

We will have drinks till late together with multiple setups there for your drunken team matches or moneymatches!

Drink specials for the night:

Happy hour prices ($8.50 pints) on tap beer & cider, house wines & house spirits for the night

$12 cocktails – Long Island, Apple pie & mojito

$5 “wet p***y” shots all night (vodka, peach schnapps and cranberries)

The kitchen will be open till late with the likes of: fish & chips, beef burger, chips, wedges, calamari, pork belly, school prawns, lamb ribs, sweetcorn fritters.

In addition, we’ll have our own Deejay: the infamous arcade Ryu player himself Phil “Def-P” Nguyen– feel free to hit him up with some requests.

[Melb] CouchWarriors April Ranbats – 16th and 23th

The last CouchWarriors ranbats before BAM8 are back in April! We have traditional fighters and Melee: USF4, GGXRD, DOA5LR, MKX, Smash Melee and Project M on Saturday the 16th of April and Smash 4 and Rivals of Aether on the 23rd of April.

Be sure to check which weekend coincides with the games that you play, and hope to see you guys there!

EXPAND GONG- Wollongong’s first Major Fighting Game Tournament

expandgongFighting game players in Wollongoong heads up as The University of Wollongong’s Video Game Association (UOW VGA) and the Wollongong Fighting Game Community (Wollongong FGC) are proud to present Wollongong’s first major fighting game competition – EXPAND GONG.

This is a two-day event that will be held over the weekend of the 2nd / 3rd of April at the University of Wollongong.

BAM8 is a Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Battle Royal: Worldwide Tournament Qualifier

CouchWarriors is proud to announce another international pro tour is joining forces with Battle Arena Melbourne 8 for its event on May 13-15, 2016.

Battle Royal is the official worldwide tournament circuit for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, in which each event in the circuit offers a major prize bonus and official sponsorship to the Battle Royal world finals.

This is the first time Battle Royal gone global, with BAM8 one of only two international tournaments included in the prestigious circuit.  Thanks to the generous prize pool, DOA5LR at BAM8 will be a free entry tournament.  Get practicing!
