QLD December 2019 Ranbat Results

CouchWarriors QLD Ranbats for December 2019 were actually held on Saturday the 30th of November at George St Brisbane. Here’s a summary of the results in every game and how the top matches played out. A complete listing of match results and brackets for each game can be viewed on Smash.gg here.

Results for SFV, MK11, Tekken 7, and Smash U count towards the standings for the BAM Path To EVO series for that game, which can be viewed here.

Street Fighter V

  1. pahnda
  2. Willing Foe
  3. Dale

The QLD SFV scene has its clear top 3, and they all showed up again this month to rack up vital BAM Path To EVO points. Still a ways off the leading numbers, we’ll see whether one of them can pick up an injection of points at December’s majors.

Tekken 7

  1. tk|jaBBu
  2. Harlem
  3. kewlkats

DragonBall FighterZ

  1. KHFC|SweetLeaves
  2. KHFC|Driver
  3. JBirds

With perennial ranbat crusher Mustella absent this month, the cadre of warriors from Kame House Fight Club got their christmas present early. Driver was unfortunately relegated to second place yet again as Liam “KHFC|SweetLeaves” Keily stepped up to snatch the crown.

Smash Ultimate

  1. Shadrew
  2. 411|Ben Gold
  3. QLD|Ari

This might have looked like a tune-up session for Big Ben Gold prior to his trip to the United States (where he claimed some fine scalps) but it was Shadrew claiming the scalp of his K.Rool at the ranbat.

Smash Melee

  1. smopup
  2. Brad
  3. XP2000

Smash Ultimate Doubles

  1. 411|Ben Gold / SadHour
  2. QLD|Shitashi / QLD|Ari
  3. 411|Crimson / 411|Flex

The return of the Ben Gold and SadHour team was certainly a sad hour for anyone else hoping to win at Ultimate Doubles this month. Ben Gold is on track for the longest ranbat winstreak in Australia, just unstoppable in the 2v2 format.

Ultra Street Fighter IV

  1. pahnda
  2. b2w|ShroomyD
  3. SLD|Xiah

pahnda is now undefeated in a Street Fighter game at ranbats since October!

Fantasy Strike

  1. KaiDASH
  2. SLD|asa
  3. $$|BattleDolphin

13 entrants this month for the best game in the FGC. QLD clearly knows what’s up.

Congratulations to all of our top-placed competitors from December! You can find details of future ranbat events on the CouchWarriors Facebook page.
